Certificate wasn't given right after the race.
Started pretty seriously at the opening stage. Spending 1:48 to pass the halfway point more or less proved it. But, as I raced on, when I got to Mojiko (門司港), around 30th K, I began feeling a bit limp and slowing down. At this point there were many a delicacy to fuel my lethargy😛: Crispy croissant (牛角包) with black sugar coating with a sort of sweetened beef puree. Wow so bleeding tasty! Not long a distance ahead a much much craved-for Japanese beef slices was presented right before me (miraculously no one around me at the moment), I took a whole box (5 slices inside). HAHA! Hugely satisfied, I was a little galvanised by this incredible fortune for a while, but soon dropped again to my lazing/tired mode. Dragged my feet to the finish.
Fantastic crowd support (almost) throughout, though at some points I would wish spectators would be less supportive so I could feel less guilty of not pushing myself on. But afterwards I felt myself grossly ungrateful because without it I would've got yet another crappy result (though this one cannot be deemed as good).
