The longest distance I've ever run.
Today was a pretty dry day with this lovely overhead sun ALL ALONG, though the windiness almost all along somehow cancelled out the heat, those body parts not well covered were grossly sunburnt.
The food/water stations actually had little to write home about. Energy drinks, coca cola are the must for such long-distance races. It also provided watermelon, small chocolate and plain buns, etc. What surprised me was its lack of bananas, though I'm not a great fan of them. Udon was exclusive only for 100k runners...
The course itself was simple at best: start at Shibamata Park and go all the way north and return at the point right past Kasugabe-Noda Bypass (春日部野田 Bypass) and finish where it starts.
Crossed the finish line at 6:38:44. I didn't know what to expect. After all it was my first ultramarathon. I had fun. It's gonna be the first of many. 😊
