衝著第一屆,又在新竹離家不遠,於是報名了!
一早3點起床,3點半出發,不到4點半即到達會場,隨即和沒漏氣團員會合拍照,5點半準時起跑,沿途兩旁風景還不錯,行經國3芎林交流道,因上下匝道車輛交管,也製造了一些人車衝突,也許下回要舉辦時,主辦單位應該思考一下怎麼改善。隨即跑上台68快速道路,接著太陽也出來了,還逆風而行,一路想著兩星期後的日本洞爺湖馬拉松,還是安全完賽就好,才想著,在26K時,突然左後背肌一陣痛楚,應該是在水站伸展持拉到了,於是放慢速度,甚至抱著用走的完賽心理準備,以免惡化,走了約2公里後,頂著頭頂的烈日,實在熱得難耐,於是又再跑起來,發現並沒有不舒服的感覺,於是就慢跑完成後半階段路程,因少了1公里路程,最終還能趕在5小時內完成。
