為準備這場賽事,從4月月跑量刻意拉到500K以上(9月最高達715),因未留意補給因素,而形成大挫敗,辜負三位超馬神人(周俊宏 李汪昌 賴國揚)的指導。目標值190K,卻只跑162.75K。
高雄超馬24H賽,我分為6段各4小時配速。下午三點起跑,天氣特好。第一段有照原配速跑40.25K,但炎熱灌進大量的水,第5小時就發生電解資失調乾嘔的情形,含了兩顆鹽糖,情況有舒緩,但第二段已降速,只跑32.4K。
第9小時姪兒張二虎來探班,精神被提振跑了起來,排名由第九追到第六。第11小時(凌晨二點多)瞌睡蟲開始來襲,路邊小眯20分數,但冷得睡不著。為提神服下第一包32Gi義式濃縮咖啡包,但效果不明顯,這小時只跑4.35K。
第12小時想累積破百K,鬥志上來又跑起來,前12小時完成103.25K,似乎還有機會拼目標值190。但第13小時開始,嘔吐及瞌睡雙重攻擊,我徹底被打敗,上FB告訴好友,我放棄目標了。為了尊敬賽事,開啓步兵模式,在半睡半醒中持續繞圈圈,在第15小時支撐不住,在路邊椅子上小眯30幾分數,依舊睡不著又著涼,對賽事沒有幫助。第4段4小時(凌晨3~7點)只走了14K。
在野孩子金牌私補站要到鹽錠及每2小時吞一包32Gi咖啡包,讓步兵模式以9分半的節奏前進,第5段走了25.35K(累積81圈)。
最後一段4小時,萌起破百浬(162K)的想法,此刻身心已疲憊,加上大太陽照射,走得很辛苦。此段採用答數跑走法,跑一段數30,走一段,再跑一段數30,讓里程數持續增加。在第23小時中段,實在克服不了瞌睡蟲,直接在路邊樹陰下小瞇15分數。為抵抗酷熱的天氣,每圈皆進補給站沖水。在時間終了前14分數,完成93圈(162.75K),但已無鬥志再拼-圈,就以此做收,去找最後一段服務的志工合照留念。
與2/10台北(花博)超馬(我第一場24H賽)相比,我多花5倍的心力去準備,但成績只是進步315公尺。僥倖獲得M55組分一,但成績非常不理想,離目標值相差27.25K,讓我心裡開始猶豫起來………
